Our successful efforts included:

Friends of Creeks cleanup day 2017
We engaged students from 92 schools in the Challenge this year, for a total of 3,602 student pledges! Our top 3 schools in terms of number of pledges were Rancho Medanos Junior High in Pittsburg, Windemere Ranch in San Ramon, and MLK Jr. Junior High in Pittsburg.
All of the actively involved middle schools produced results due to the dedication of their science teachers, who understand that building a sustainable community for the future depends on educating kids on issues facing the planet.
